Mr. Robert C. Lieber is Independent Director of the Tutor Perini Corporationration Mr. Lieber is the Executive Managing Director of Island Capital Group LLC and CIII Capital Partners LLC . He joined the firm in July 2010, after having served under New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg as Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Prior to joining the Bloomberg administration, Mr. Lieber worked at Lehman Brothers for 23 years, serving most recently as a Managing Director of their Real Estate Private Equity Group and prior to that as the Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking. CIII serves as the manager of various real estate investment trusts . In his capacity as Executive Managing Director of CIII, Mr. Lieber serves as a member of the board of directors of two REITs managed by subsidiaries of CIII Resource Income Opportunity REIT, Inc. and Resource Real Estate Opportunity REIT, Inc., both public nontraded REITs. In addition, Mr. Lieber serves as Chief Executive Officer of Exantas Capital Corporationration, a publicly traded REIT, which is also managed by a subsidiary of CIII. Mr. Lieber also served as both Secretary of the Board and as a Trustee for the Urban Land Institute and Governor of the Urban Land Foundation. He is the former Chairman of the ZellLurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Lieber brings to the Board extensive expertise and insight into financial and political matters pertaining to real estate and infrastructure development projects, gained through his experience in the financial and governmental sectors since 2014.
