Prior to joining Zions, he served as the executive director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority from 1999 to 2000. During this time he was also an executive vice president of Bank One from 1997 to 2000. He joined Vectra Bank Colorado in March 2000. Alexander has also served on the board of regents of National Bank. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Denver Health, the largest provider of indigent care in Denver, as well as a member of the board for Denvers Land Use and Transportation Advisory Council. Alexander is a graduate of the University of Virginia. since 2017.
