She also serves on the board of directors of Expedia Group, Inc. and several privately held companies. Ms. Athey received her bachelors degree from Duke University in economics, computer science, and mathematics and her Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University. She also holds an honorary doctorate from Duke University. Ms. Athey was chosen to serve on our Board because of her extensive experience with marketplace design, platform strategy, big data, and financial technology. since 2018.
