Mr. Charles L. Overby is an Independent Director of the Company. Prior to leading The Freedom Forum, Mr. Overby served for 16 years as a reporter, editor and corporate executive with Gannett Co., Inc., the nations largest newspaper company and publisher of USA TODAY, including roles as a Pulitzer Prizewinning editor at The ClarionLedger in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Overby serves as Chairman of the Overby Center for Southern Journalism and Politics at the University of Mississippi and on the Board of Trustees of the Andrew Jackson Foundation since 2001.
