Mr. Herbert Simon is Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Simon Property Group, Inc. since 2007. Chairman Emeritus of the Board of the Company since 2007. CoChairman of the Board of the Company or its predecessor from 1995 to 2007. Mr. Simon was Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Company predecessor from its incorporation in 1993 to 1995. He also serves on the Board of Governors for the National Basketball Association and as Chairman of the Board of MSA. He is the uncle of David Simon, Chairman and CEO of the Company. He is our cofounder and Chairman Emeritus. The retail real estate business that he and his brother, the late Melvin Simon, started decades ago established the foundation for all of our current operations and record of achievement since 2007.
